About our Respiratory Management
Caring for someone is not a nine to five job. Our highly trained staff respond to the healthcare needs of the people we care for and are available around the clock, seven days a week. While our staff are most needed during daylight hours, they are often called upon to provide overnight care support for service users and their families.
Spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and neurological disorders, such as Motor Neurone Disease or Muscular Dystrophy, can all lead to the need for ventilatory care and support. Managing these conditions in the home can require a high level of clinical care, and complex interventions, such as ventilator management.
Our team of specialists can provide a range of services, including ventilator management, to help people live as independently as possible. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care and support so that people can live their lives to the fullest.
Our dedicated nurse-led training and supervision for our carers means our clients requiring ventilator support can be confident in the care they receive. In addition, our Clinical Governance Team ensures that quality, safety, and management of risk are always central to the service we provide. For the families of ventilated or ventilator-dependent clients, ventilator care can be a challenging prospect, which makes our expert support invaluable.
We can offer specialist support with:
Tracheostomy care
Tracheal suction
Cough assist
Ventilator care
Administration of oxygen therapy
We provide support to our clients and those closest to them to enable life in the home to continue as smoothly as possible.
