Our trained nurses are able to undertake skin assessments, remove surgical sutures and clips and change dressings for wounds which require frequent management and assessment. Where possible these services can be undertaken within the clients home but for all other services we have our clinic.
In the management of acute or chronic wounds, whether due to surgery, chronic conditions or a trauma, you can count on our team of highly experienced nurses to provide expert wound care for all types of injuries. Our team will check the wound for any signs of infection and apply dressings where appropriate to ensure an optimal healing environment, following any specific instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
What is Tissue viability?
“Tissue viability is a growing speciality that primarily considers all aspects of skin and soft tissue wounds including acute surgical wounds, pressure ulcers and all forms of leg ulceration.” – (Tissue Viability Society 2009).
